There is no better way to
establish a great relationship with your dog than by being his leader
and teaching him your rules. Not only will it make YOU happier, but it
will make your dog happier, too.
But training a dog isn't always easy. Even when you love a dog for all
his wonderful qualities, that same dog can have a will of steel that
tests your patience; or a brand of cleverness that drives you nuts; or a
troubling behavior that you just can't seem to break him of.
Fortunately, there are resources that can help. Not only books and
videos and websites, but also organizations and individuals that offer
hands-on training and behavior services. In our view, the information
you can get from books and videos and websites is great ... but nothing
beats what you can learn from a skilled professional in group classes or
one-on-one sessions.
Train While Boarding
If you are struggling with your pet's behavior, or just planning a
vacation, our program will give you the breather you need, followed by a
fresh start. We offer an in-board training program. Your pet will stay
with us at the school for one to two weeks, much like sending your child
away to summer camp. While your dog is with us he/she will be taught to
calm down and relax around distractions. For example, your dog should be
able to remain seated even if distracted by the presence of another
animal. Proper manners are taught, such as "heel","
sit"," stay","
down",
"come”, and the word "no". We also concentrate on any behavior problems
we find such as play biting, mouthing and jumping. At the end of the
program, we train the owner(s) and dog, together as a team. This usually
takes about an hour.
All training is done on a leash and it's all guaranteed. By
guaranteed, we mean if you ever have a problem with your dog's training,
whether it's three months or three years from the time you pick him/her
up. Just call us and we'll be happy to help you correct the problem.
The only things we don't guarantee are the following: that your dog
won't go to the bathroom on the floor, he or she won't chew, and that he
or she won't bite anybody.
PRIVATE TRAINING LESSONS
We offer in person private dog
training lessons for Quinte Area Dog owners. The first introductory
lesson is free. We feel that our customers benefit from our private
one-on-one lessons at our school as well as in their own homes. We
offer In home service at a discounted rate for seniors and others that
are not able to get out. Please e-mail us for more info about our

Group Lessons
Class Acceptance
All adult
dogs must have sound social skills for enrollment of class and show
proof of current vaccinations. Bordetella vaccine is recommended.
We offer a wide variety of group classes. All of our
group classes are limited to a six student maximum. We believe that you
our customer need the best possible service and teaching. Our classes
range from four session courses to ten session courses depending on
weather you want obedience training or behavioral modification. We do
recommend private or at home lessons for your behavioral modification

Pet Sitting
and Dog walking
You have to
travel? just to busy for your loved one! We CAN help with our wide
variety of services. Don't worry if the need to leave town does arise
we are here for Fido. Do we need a lot of notice? It is preferred but
does the boss give you lot's of notice? Not always. We Understand and
we can help.
We offer a unique pet and home
care service designed exclusively to give you peace of mind, and allow
your pets the luxury and security of remaining at home in their own
familiar and comfortable surroundings, while you are away on business or
vacation.
